"Start where you are.  Use what you have. Do what you can." Arthur Ashe

Rooted in positive psychology and mindfulness, I offer counselling sessions that integrate several evidence-based approaches for anxiety, depression and PTSD including EMDR, somatic experiencing, dialectical behaviour and cognitive behavioural informed therapies.  I aim to create a non-judgemental, comfortable, yet somewhat challenging therapeutic space where you feel supported to explore places you feel 'stuck' and affirmed in letting go of 'old' thoughts, feelings and behaviours that no longer serve you.

I hold a masters degree in social work and bring 20 years compassionate experience in community-based & healthcare settings providing trauma-informed, spiritually sensitive and culturally safe counselling for individuals, families and groups.  Maintaining my registration with both the BC & AB Colleges of Social Workers, I feel honoured to support individuals experiencing anxiety or depression, grief & loss (including pregnancy loss), trauma and intra-personal distress. Authenticity, trust and respect are the values of my practice, and I am available to help you facilitate the changes you want in your life.

Together we will identify and build upon your strengths & resources, and discover which approaches and coping strategies will be most effective to help you heal past wounds, reach your personal goals and create

a more balanced and joyful life.
